Soldier Sunday

Thanks to Dizzi Lizzi for providing the inspiration. Here are some pictures of my brother-in-law, Jeff, who is providing armored military escort to civilians on the roads to and from Baghdad.

We're all praying that he, and my brother Jason, come home safe and sound next year once their tours are over.

If you have a picture you'd like to share of a loved one serving in the military, join us in honoring our troops. Lizzi does Soldier Sunday every week.

And have a Merry Christmas, everyone!

Good for them! I'll send my prayers and best wishes their way. I have such respect for our soldiers... my DH is a veteran of Desert Storm and my Dad was a WWII vet. We wouldn't be living the way we do without them.

Sorry... got a little preachy :-/

i don't pray, but i do promise to think good thoughts for them. i will even think non-sarcastic ones for them, which is really hard for me. the last time i had a non-sarcastic thought, i birthed a child. that is something i don't need a third time.

Is that a scrap book page? If so, it is beautiful. Also...I am going to have to sit you down and get a full family history. I feel like I should know everything. Because I had no idea you had family RISKING their LIVES!

Am I allowed to say your bro-in-law is cute?
